One day I hope I have a setup as awesome as everyone else's. Until then . . .

Image

Vestax PDT-4000 (dedicated listening and sampling deck). Carts I use with it are Grado DJ200, Audio Technica ATP-2XN, Ortofon Q-Bert OM.

Linn Sondek LP12 with Ittok LVII and Audio Technica AT440MLA

Image

The deck is mounted on a Target wall-mounted stand and as i had problems with the hardboard baseboard and feet fitted three oak cones to the plinth, no apparent effects except the deck is extremely stable!
Used with the lid off.

....First post from a newbie on here (although I'm a middle aged hifi freak with a vinyl heritage going back to around 1968)

....I have an original un-tweaked Oracle Delphi I / Zeta Arm /...with a Goldring 2200 being fitted as speak (erm' as I write?)

...Pics to follow soon .... (great site by the way!)

An unfussy Akai AP 006 with a Dennon DL 110 cartridge. I have no great ambitions to upgrade, but I'd love a 301, just for the bullet proof Mercedes-like solidity and beautiful looks. Until then...

I guess the weight on the side of the tonearm must have been very common at one point. I had one on my Pioneer PL570. I never knew quite what it was for and never knew how to adjust it. I believe it was for antiskate adjustment. Was it effective? Who knew?

Some really impressive exotica and a feast for the eyes  Thou shall not covet, but I cain't help myself.

Here at chez bleu, there are a couple of 301's (one grease bearing, the rest oil bearing models), a Micro Seiki BL-51, a Micro Seiki MB-18, Michell Syncro, B&O 4002, Dunlop Systemdek Transcription Deck and even a Rega Planar MK 3.

And of course my present amour, the Micro MR-711, shown here fresh out of my workshop in its blue livery.
