Another Sota Star, Rekokut b12GH, Russco Studio Pro, and the solid aluminum Empire 208 plinth that was for sale here on this site. Plus about 30 albums. I need to slow down for a while.

Hmm no you don't... Live fast, listen to lots of music...
The tax refund came through so I used part of that for a me-present and got myself a nice mint condition used tonearm for the Leonardo:

Rega RP6 (black) + Dynavector DV-20X2 Low-output Moving Coil (MC) cartridge.

Very magical combo playing through my Linn system (via the Linn Uphorik phono pre-amp)!

Yes it is. I haven't had the opportunity for a real good listen yet, but it seems to be much more in control than the RB300 which was on here before.

Bought a Synthesis Vertigo integrated tube amp to go with my Project RPM 9.1x. Sounds absolutely stunning.

Surely even rarer than hen's teeth? I'd have said rocking horse sh*t rarity.

Where did you find that?

A guy in Florida made some. I don't know if he plans to make more. I hop so.

It's a shame he hasn't made any for the CF-2 that I own. :(

As for new equipment for this week, well none really so far. But I did a bit of fine tuning of my Logic / OL Encounter / AT OC9 this evening - changed the isolation board feet from spikes to sorbothane pods, changed loading on my Dino, fiddled with VTF & VTA, re-lubed the motor & bearing and adjusted the suspension a little more - and now smack my arse and call me Dorothy because slap!!!! it's all just snapped into focus beautifully. Love this arm and TBH it's nudging against the 774 as my best / favourite arm. :D

So the Logic continues to keep you entertained?

Should have the Orcale/Ittok/DV23R running over the next week or so. Can't wait. Needs a polish, general service and to order a new lid similar to the one on the DM101.

So this week it will be a new lid

Yeah the Logic is wonderful SF. I would say I am entranced and enthralled by my music rather than entertained.

Obviously can't do an A/B comparison with a PT1 but I no longer have that hankering for the PT neutrality that I have had since I sold mine.
My next purchase will be a PSU. It's a shame that the OL DC kit probably won't work as that would be a killer combination. I may try it even though I know success is not assured.

Have you had an Ittok before? I had one for a short while where J7 had refurbed the bearings and rewired it. Sounded great but me and my stoopid itch to try other gear made me sell it. Dumass!!!

This OL Encounter really is quite some arm though.
