so did mine, i wonder if FF are able to supply the weights, might be worth a phone call

I just thought I would post an update on my Vectored PT1 + Zeta.
It's also a recommendation for an album - Fleetwood Mac Rumours. Arrived today from JPC in Germany. It's the new mix that comes on 2 45 rpm discs.
Generally it sounds very fine and captivates but what particularly stands out is the beautifully articulate bass. I'm not sure what contributes the most to the way this system puts over the bass but I've read the Zeta is very capable here. ps would love a PT - Linn shoot out!

Nice thread :) Another vote for the Zeta. Bought mine in about 1985 along with a Kiseki Blue after hearing a friend's Zeta. Great bass and plenty of control, now on my third Kiseki moved through Blue Gold spot to a Purple Heart Sapphire :)
Fascinated by the mods might try some  I can recommend removal of that hardboard base plate, worked for me. Now mounted on three rubber feet that correspond to the suspension points

If your arm leads are that stiff then maybe you could have it re-wired with something more flexible.

Hmmmmmm.....bit dusty back there, more cleaning required (New Year resolution :^o )

My Anni came with a phono socket board that is like your PT1 mod. Intension is that unsheathed, flexible wires go straight from the arm to it (no connector on the bottom of the arm I shouldn't think).

Roksan's arm cables are good in that they have a flexible section before the stiff part that can then be held with a P clip.

I think the main idea was to reduce the mechanical connection of the sub chassis to the outside world; typically arms with SME-style DIN sockets in the base could be connected, but if you had arm-wires straight out, all the better for you I suppose...
