I've got one as my second turntable at the moment. I'm using an Ortofon 530mkII and it makes a nice enough noise although I'm not impressed with the motor rumble. I'm going to get an SE kit for it presently and some kind of cork mat. Before this I had an Xpression which was about the same, sound quality wise but not as cute to look at.
Knowing me I'll probably keep it a couple of weeks and put something else in its place.

I have a Dual 505-2 that I got at a car boot sale for £2 that has less motor noise breakthrough. I'm going to try one of those SE kits, it's only £25 and includes a new belt and pulley.

When the stylus guard is up or down, the stylus is locked into place. To remove the stylus, move the guard to the horizontal position (halfway between up and down) this frees the lock and the stylus can be pulled forward away from the cartridge body.
