That's a great haul, youngdand. Nicely done!
I know it's only rock & roll, but I like it.

Thanks, the echoes box set is a nice sounding set, listened to 2 out the 4 discs today and its very quiet vinyl, however im not sure they have the oomph of the originals though, but not far off. i will put out my copies of the wall, animals, piper and my mfsl dsotm later and do some back to backs to see.

Since you've got a copy of the mfsl Dark Side of the Moon, I've always wondered about the sound on that. I've seen a copy at one of my regular haunts for some time now, and wondered if it's really worth getting. Totally expensive (for me, anyway) at $125, although it's in very nice condition. Any thoughts? Is it worth it?

Its a nice album, different, a bit tighter than the first pressing i had, my only issue with it, is that it has a sort of very very light bonfire crackle sound at the start of side one, the disc is visually mint, and has ben cleaned so man times, but i just cant shift it. mabe its a pressing error, or its part of the track i never heard before! im sure this is just on m copy!

Esperanza Spalding's Chamber Music Society came in the mail Saturday. It was a bright, sunny, and hot day and the record was ON THE FLIPPIN DASHBOARD OF THE MAIL TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

And big surprise, its warped. Wondering if I should try to send it back or not. Play's okay AFAIK, but it had to get HOT to warp a 180 pressing.

My gets are not as extravagant as some others of yours but likable nonetheless.

I got ROBIN TROWER - FOR EARTH BELOW

ROBIN TROWER - BRIDGE OF SIGHS (had to really clean it good with soap twice but found a NM record under there).

ZZ TOP - First Album .... omg this is so good! hadn't heard it in YEARS.

ZZ TOP - RIO GRANDE MUD

AC/DC - IRON MAN 2 SOUNDTRACK 180 GRAM DBL VINYL. Let me tell you first off this sounds perfect. This was an excellent release. I have the other albums these same songs are off and these sound INCREDIBLE.

It is a double gate fold with cool images on it inside and out.

This makes me want to go and get the rest of the AC/DC 180gram reissues if they sound this damned good!

This is the smile it put on my face!!

One of the worst days at work I've ever had. Needed time to be alone so I stopped by the record store on the way home and came across this. It may not fix my day, but it helps a little!Image

My local thrift store got some new donations and I found
Verve Records:The Essential Louis Armstrong
Satchmo at Symphony hall(2 discs)
Louis Armstrong July 4,1900/July 6,1971 (2 discs)
Eddie Money
Roger Daltrey,Ride a Rock Horse
Phantom,Rocker & Slick
Keith Moon,Two Sides of the Moon
These LP's all are in fantastic shape and the Louis Armstrong LP's look and sound like new. I love the sleeve with the two sides of the Moon...Typical Moonie...
