The Rush cover annoys me. Yes, yes, 21:12, we get it lads, but shouldn't the hour hand have been one fifth of the way towards the 10 symbol?

Ordered the Krautrock classic ''Tarot'' and also The new Rush opus.

Last few weeks bought 15 Mothers/Zappa albums..

strange thing though I'm seriously pondering floggin almost all my vinyl..I might not do it but am thinking long and hard. I simply prefer CD's for listening most of the time. My vinyl is more of a collecting kinda thing and hardly gets played these days. I know a dealer in Edinburgh who should offer a reasonable price.

What annoys me even more is the fact that side D was pressed non-concentrically, making it practically useless. Back to the record store... :(

I didn't know CDS were still going, it must be 15 years ago, or maybe more, I used to regularly buy from them.

Thanks for the info Sparrow, I'll check it out,
Regards

Yeah they are still in business..However don't think about using their website as it is a mess. Never updated and has no new listings for years...it is useless and they will admit that themselves.. best to drop them an e mail and they will put you on theyre mailing list.

Don't tell us you haven't got this one , Kelvin . I thought you had everything "Kosmische" worth having !

I have just pre-ordered it from Spin CDs for £27.99 . It is due to be released on 23rd of August . It is filed under Cosmic Jokers , not Walter Wegmuller .

This is rather a good time to be interested in Kosmische Musik as there are quite a few albums being re-released at the moment in adition to Walter Wegmuller's LP there are some by the Cosmic Jokers themselves , Manuel Gottsching and Ash Ra Tempel and one I've got on order from Amazon , Gunter Schickert's Uberfallig .This has not been available , at a reasonable price , for many a year . This , of course , is in addition to Can's Lost Tapes which I've got on order from Sainsbury's , of all people . Cheaper than Amazon .Hopefully they will deliver .

Great! My order from Norton Records just came in. A couple of real neat ones that I've had my eye out for for years!

No Nick, Tarot is one of those that I've never found at an acceptable price...yet :) . So this is good news.

The Cosmic Jokers albums I picked up on vinyl many years ago,and also Ashra.

Never thought about shopping at Sainsbury for Kosmische Musik, have to investigate that one

This arrived this morning.
1st press of The Gits - Enter: The Conquering Chicken (1994)
This Seattle punk record was released posthumously after Mia's murder and is one of my favourites :)
