Busy day rummaging in the basement at Vinyl Tap, Huddersfield....

Loudon Wainwright III - Final Exam
Style Council - Cafe Bleu
Steve Earle - Exit O

and from upstairs at full price, the very excellent

Jack White - Blunderbuss
and the Thea Gilmore/Sandy Denny 7" from RSD2012; the one thing I didn't pick up on the day

and arrived when I got home

The Who - Who's Next (triple set) From Amazon Warehouse; sleeve a bit of a mess, stickers and all sorts of stuff on it, but all three discs are absolutely mint. Don't think they've been out of the poly-lined sleeves. Bargain.

a couple of RSD releases.

both sound damn good, especially the Panic Live Wood. Caught a few of the Wood Tour and this sounds just as if you are back in the room.

At this junk store, in amongst a lot of Lawrence Welk, Herb Alpert and B.J. Thomas lps, there was this, still shrink-wrapped, for a dollar. I don't know what it was doing there, and I don't care. I've been a fan of the Mono Men since the early 90's, and I think that I now have all of their albums on vinyl. All that's left is to get a copy of this same album (second-pressing, alternate artwork). I am thrilled.
I know it's only rock & roll, but I like it.

Your version of beauty and mine must be a bit different. I LOLed at the Lawrence Welk comment. Why are there LW records at every single garage sale and thrift store? Who were these people?!

That's pretty awesome art, even by Maiden's standards.
