Picked up a few on Xmas Eve in the charity shops:

Osibisa - Happy Children (VERY GOOD)

The Beatles - 'Red' Album / 1962 - 1966 (EXCELLENT)

Pale Saints - Comfort of Madness (EXCELLENT)

Billy Bragg - Brewing up with Billy Bragg (VERY GOOD)

Roberta Flack - First Take (SUPERB)

Santana - Borboletta (I used to really dislike this LP but played on my LP12 / 774 through a Lehmann Statement and it sounds very good)(EXCELLENT)

Melanie - with the Edwin Hawkins Singers (VERY GOOD)

Grace Jones - Warm Leatherette (SUPERB)

Grace Jones - Nightclubbing (SUPERB)

The Cult - Love (EXCELLENT)

B.T. Express - Energy to Burn (VERY GOOD)

B.T. Express - Function at the Junction (VERY GOOD)

Sakhile - self titled (GOOD)

Gwen McCrae - Rockin' Chair (EXCELLENT)

All 2 squid except the Beatles which was 7.99. The vinyl is all 'EX+' condition except the Melanie LP which is only 'VG'. The comments in brackets are my own ratings of how much I enjoyed listening to the LP's - Superb is top, then excellent etc. Happy days @ Bubba Mews :D .

The Ramones first lp. Didn't realize it was coloured vinyl until I got it home. I prefer the black stuff. Oh well. Plays alright.
Also got Kiss-Hot in the Shade. Haha. It's the Kiss album I like to make fun of the most so I had to buy it, especially since it was still sealed.

I noticed a Quiex copy of Genesis' "Lamb..." album for sale for fifty quid so snapped it up but was very disappointed with the sound, it seems they "remixed" it - compared to my lively old Japanese copy the sound is loose, woolly and unfocussed, messily arranged and just plain dull....after Classic Records' great results with the Led Zeppelin albums i am surprised at this, the seller kindly accepted my request to return it but i'm put off buying any more expensive "audiophile" stuff :x

The Who-Tommy
Black Sabbath (featuring Tony Iommi)-Seventh Star

Never gave too much thought to purchasing any post Ozzy Sabbath (Except Heaven and Hell) but the price was right. If it sucks, no big loss.

No vinyl but only on cd: Wolfendale - "Foghorn"
Excellent moody progrock by a band from The Netherlands. If you like Yes, Ayreon and so on then you'll like this too. Added bonus: the recording quality is excellent. Even the cd sounds very VERY good.
