Orrr...We could also pay a tribute to one of the great songwriters, Mr. Irving Louis Burgie, who recently passed away at the age of 95...He wrote many calypso hits for Harry Belafonte, including "Day-O", "Jamaica Farewell", "Mary's Boy Child" and this one...R.I.P. :(

Too many islands could make things confusing, I'll just head back to the 78 rpm era, and continue with Arthur Godfrey's Thousand Islands Song

Then again, for a second choice, there is this instrumental selection I thought about using earlier, Earth Is An Island by Craiggy

A Bee Gee-penned classic, too, Tonybro!

Now, I thought you guys might like to hear some very early Dusty Springfield with her brother Tom...

The Springfields - Island Of Dreams

A regional hit here, it was also recorded by both Johnny Tillotson and The Seekers...

I'll head back to Jamaca, and "belly" on with the Zombie Jamboree, or as it was titled on this 78, "Back to Back, Belly to Belly" by The Charmer with the Johnny McCleverty Calypso Boys

or, maybe you'd prefer the "Big Belly Man" by Admiral Bailey

Seems like my choosing to abandon the word island for belly has caused the chain game to go belly up, so I'll abbreviate island to isle, check my collection, and wind up that old phonograph again for "With His Umpah Umpah On The Umpah Isle" by Collins and Harlan for a second option.
