I might just have to smoke things up a little with my next reply , B. A. Rolfe & His Lucky Strike Dance Orchestra - Singin' In The Rain.

Or, I suppose we could give Edison a break, and rather than Bing, swap out the vowel, and head to another hill for some alternative hits, That's Cypress Hill, and Hits from the Bong..

I'd never heard of that version of... :raining:

That's pretty cool, B! 8)

Even rain would be preferable to this snow! But I did something cool on this snowy day, so stay tuned...

I can stand a little rain...

As it's electrically recorded, there is a much better sounding example of Rolfe's :raining: online, but it would not allow playback when posted :( .
I'll continue with Edison selections for Save A Kiss For Rainy Weather by Green Bros. Novelty Band

Apologies for song missing last several seconds, although somewhat better sound than only other example.

Or, due to lack of decent rainy choices, we could always still give Thomas a break, go with one of those other "hits from the..:smoking:." . For second choice, I'll add Bob Dylan - Rainy Day Women #12 & 35

(And, the link to that electrically played copy of singin' in the rain you liked, VM https://youtu.be/epOcSu6t_J0)

We can either stay Lo-Fi with "Carolina in the Morning" by Broadway Dance Orchestra going for a new record on posting Edison records

Or as I get the feeling my extended run of 90+ year old selections is really beginning to get old, go Hi-Fi with Bob Marley's "Misty Morning"

Britney Spears, classic collaboration with Moby. One of her best deep cuts.

Curiously enough, her most recent album is 2016's Glory.

While I was considering a break on the early selections, I just can't resist posting this old familiar comedy song grandma used to occasionally sing about an army man wanting to sleep in late, Oh How I Hate To Get Up In The Morning by Arthur Fields

Or, to avoid stalling the game again, for something resembling music, another reggae selection with Ziggy Marley's "I Get Up"

Here's one I heard a long time ago...I look at the snow outside and think of my troubles and I think of this song...

The Fabulous Thunderbirds - Why Get Up?

Of course, the bills don't stop, so I have to keep moving... [-X :(

On the other hand, we could go with this old AM radio staple and keep the lovelight burning... :-k

Melissa Manchester - Fire In The Morning

Your choice! :D
