No Gatefold on Waiting for the Sun?

Ok so I bought some records off an old collector and one was waiting for the sun by the doors its all original but there isnt a gatefold was that something only in america because mines canadian

my original UK release has a full gatefold.

I bought it in Canada when it came out, and to my recollection, the Canadian pressing did not have a gatefold.

However, I got the Doors 180gm Vinyl Box last year and there is a gatefold on that copy, that I don't recall ever seeing before on any copy.

BTW, if you are a Doors fan, the Vinyl box is magnificent.

Ok thanks guy i was worried for a second! lol.
I was going to invest in the boxset but ive got most of the originals and i hear that the box is digitaly mastered?

The set was digitally remastered, but the results are wonderful to my ear. I also have the originals, and the box sounds noticeably clearer and cleaner than the originals, and, fortunately, not like the horribly remastered and also remixed CDs that came out some years back. Those remixes just sounded wrong to anyone who had grown up with the original mixes.
