They should really get some roadies to help them out.
I know it's only rock & roll, but I like it.

Ah... maybe you miss the point. The Hinsons are not actually pictured.

Sorry, Zaimejs, now I'm not following you. This group also is pictured in a portrait setting on the back cover of the lp. I'm assuming (I thought fairly safely) that they represent the Hinsons. Am I wrong?

I meant to write more... I could just imagine the Hinsons just out of the frame of the picture as these roadies are following them with their instruments. So the actual Hinsons are not pictured because they are coming (to a town near you) followed by these creepy groupies.

Just a joke, but I didn't play it off well.

I get you now. They would make for a strange group of roadies, but instead they're just a strange looking family band straining their backs carrying their amps down the old dirt road.

That was an awesome trip!! Some hilarious stuff...makes you wonder about people sometimes.

There is a restaurant here in Raleigh that has some of these album covers wallpapering the mens & ladies rooms. Lots of horn rim glasses wearing big hair 60's era southern US christian family band stuff. It's such a hoot that guys/girls will make the effort to make sure the mens/ladies room is empty so their dates can take a tour.

Most uncanny about this is that my wife & I almost went to dinner there last night for the first time in ages, but settled for a closer to home option. They recently changed ownership, so hope the toilet LP cover galleries are still intact. If so, will snap some pics to post here.

And yes - for those wondering...the food is great - or at least it was last time we ate there. :-)

more or less anything by Storm Thorgerson/Hipgnosis. Trite ad agency stuff. Certainly worse than anything that's been posted so far in this thread.

Okay, akb778 posted this in the currently listening category, and I just couldn't help myself. I love me some Deep Purple, but WOW. What's up with that dude's neck? He looks like he might have one of those chest-bursters from Alien or something.
