I explored the Burlington area on a road trip in 2014. So I'll have to stop into those shops next time I come through. I went to this shop a while back..

Graveface Records & Curiosities
5 W 40th St.
Savannah, GA 31401

It's far from the largest store I've been to, but has a great selection nonetheless. The records are reasonably priced as I bought a few.

I thought about some of the shops I ventured on that aforementioned road trip in 2014 and these came to mind..

Big Chicken Barn Books
1768 Bucksport Rd
Ellsworth, ME 04605

Books, antiques, and plenty of records..

The Dream Catcher
107 Main St.
Ellsworth, ME 04605

I happened to walk in at the right time for this one. A man had just brought in a great selection of records that I had the opportunity to be the first to glance through. I came away with some gems at fair prices.

Here are a few shops in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex that i visit from time to time. haven't seen most of these on the thread yet:

Doc’s Records & Vintage
2628 Weisenberger
Fort Worth, TX 76107

Doc's has a wide selection of just about any genre you can think of. On top of that, there's a mini-antique mall in the back. My personal favorite in the DFW area due to their fair prices, wide selection and friendly, laid-back staff.

Born Late Records & Tattoo
2920 Race St
Fort Worth, TX 76111

Born Late is a Metal head's paradise. Tons of new/used vinyl, CD's, cassettes, t-shirts, etc. Prices aren't too bad either.

The Vintage Freak
1424 Brown Trl
Bedford, TX 76022

This place has an excellent selection of cheap vinyl, in addition to other cool vintage furniture, stereo equipment, memorabilia, etc. It shares it's complex with a really cool retro arcade and a vintage toy/video game shop.

Good Records
9026 Garland Ave
Dallas, TX 75218

you can't live in the DFW without mentioning Good Records. excellent store with a wide selection of new vinyl and CD's. i'd frequent it more if i lived closer to it.

Forever Young Records
2955 S Hwy 360
Grand Prairie, TX 75052

This place has just about everything under the sun. it's well organized, but prices are high.

Recycled Books Records CDs
200 N Locust St
Denton, TX 76201

A huge shop that specializes in books, but also has a huge selection of vinyl and CD's. If ever in Denton, TX, it's a MUST. cheap prices too.

Bill's Records
1317 S Lamar St
Dallas, TX 75215

A huge shop with a lot of OOP and import goodies...just be prepared to dig for it, as the shop is not organized at all! it can be a bit pricey too. That being said, i've found a lot of cool stuff at Bill's. just be prepared to spend a lot of time there looking, and possibly hearing stories from the owner.
