Hi everybody,
I would like to ask if someone has the same observations as me regarding vinyl version of the famous Amused to death (Roger Waters) album. I always wanted to have this album on vinyl but as you know it is very hard to find and very expensive on vinyl. I menaged to buy it in the end and was very happy until I put it on the table. After several minutes of listenig LP no.1 I drew the conclusion that the sound is in mono not Q-sound stereo (I know from the CD version) as promissed in the booklet of the vinyl. I tried the second LP - the same situation. I must emphasise that apart from the sound quality everything seems to be right. The LPs are really thick (over 180g) and shiny. There is 16 page booklet, the issue CBS/Sony, S/N is 42-468761-20 and on the label there is an information it is made in Holland. I'm totally disappoitend. Does anybody have similar observations. It is possible that there is a fake issue on the market?
Regards
Wojtek
