Guilty pleasure? Maybe :D

Relax was perfectly placed in the film Body Double by Brian DePalma.

Arguments over Meatloaf in a best albums type thread? What strange universe is this?

Actually, their first album was Introducing The Beatles on VeeJay records. It was released in 1962 if memory serves me right.

There is no such thing as the best debut albu, opinions being what they are, but a very good one is Jonathon Edwards by Jonathon Edwards. After the fame it garnered him he apparently changed his style of music so that wouldn't happen again. Not everyone wants to be a star.

43 years after its release, you can still buy a Big Mac. That still doesn't make it a great meal.

Dadimo wrote:I really like the first album from Santana, and Meet the Beatles. Business as usual is an album that might be over looked because a lot of people don't take music from the 80's too seriously (I do own it though) I also would mention either the first Van Halen album or the first Pretenders album.

The Beatles' first album was "Please Please Me".

Sorry, but that was their first album with Parlaphone. Parlaphone bought out their contract from VeeJay.

I just talked to a friend of mine who still has the album (she got it new when she was a kid) and she said it was actually released in 1963. She also has the record cut with Tony Sheridan where they sing My Bonnie. These are the only two albums she would never let anyone borrow when we were growing up.
