Best Debut Album Of All Time?

name that tune

Best Debut album of all time?

Shamelessly stolen this from Planet Rock who are doing a poll, still time to vote, ends 19th October I think.
3 suggestions allowed.

My 3 were:

Jeff Buckley : Grace
Jimi Hendrix : Are you Experienced
Boston : Boston

In hindsight , should have dropped Boston in favour of Zepp 1.
You'll hear Angel Trumpets and Devil Trombones...you are invited.

Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bs
The Smiths - The Smiths

I'm stuck on the 3rd one? The Pixies Come On Pilgrim , The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld or The Prodigy Experience would be contenders...

I really like the first album from Santana, and Meet the Beatles. Business as usual is an album that might be over looked because a lot of people don't take music from the 80's too seriously (I do own it though) I also would mention either the first Van Halen album or the first Pretenders album.

one of these, i can't decide which

fantastic heavy blues-rock, like a gift from the gods at the time 1969

Image

amazing performance at Woodstock, still a stunning classic 1969

Image

out-of-this-world virtuosity from legendary genius Hendrix ....still very influential, Jimi re-wrote the guitarists bible 1967

Image

still a real classic masterpiece, spearheaded the British Prog rock movement 1969
