I just love Van. Avalon Sunset isn't my one of my favourite outings of his though. Have you tried some of his earlier stuff, St. Dominic's Preview, Hard Nose The Highway, Veedon Fleece etc?

no I haven't tried any of the earlier stuff yet - but it's only a matter of time methinks.

At the moment I've got Radiohead Live from Glastonbury in 1997 on the goggle box. Not sure if I'll make it all the way through. There's only so much wailing and caterwauling I can take.

Birthday today - present from my son. Had this Elvin Bishop album in 1975 - Let it Flow. Some of you might recall he performed on 'The Old Grey Whistle Test' in the mid 70's and did 'Travellin' Shoes' It is so good. He's still performing.
