I bought a copy of this album from the man himself, after a show in Independence, Oregon. There were literally tens of people in the crowd, and when Deke broke a string, his other guitarist pulled out a unicycle and rode it around the tiny stage to entertain us during the lull. I've seen Deke Dickerson play about a dozen times now, and every show has been an amazing experience. A true showman, I once saw him lay a stand-up bass on the stage, sit in a chair and play a tune on his guitar while picking the bass with his toes. An amazing spectacle to behold!
I know it's only rock & roll, but I like it.
