Such a great album. But... my copy (which I purchased in 1992 in Oxnard, CA) has a ton of surface noise. It's rather annoying when trying to rip, but I don't mind it when I am causally listening to it.

Danzig - Deth Red Sabaoth

although this isn't even close to the best work Danzig has done, I still love this album. as a long time Glenn Danzig fan it feels like a jam session to me. there are a few songs that really stand out, but the grove of the album is pretty awesome. Im currently spinning my red vinyl version of it, and i'm at Deth Red Moon... if this album was made 20 years ago when Glenn was at his vocal (and production) best, it would be a phenomenal album.

for me the highlights are; Rebel Spirits, Black Candy, On A Wicked Night, Deth Red Moon, Pyre of Souls (Seasons of Pain), and Left Hand Rise Above.

Actually, Left Hand Rise Above seems like the perfect Coda. If there was never another Danzig song after this I would die satisfied.
