I preordered the new Los Straitjackets album and decided to throw in for this holiday favorite as well. Still have a week to go for the new one to arrive, but they decided to ship this one earlier...

Swung by the local Goodwill on the way home from work. Original stereo pressing, cover is really nice, just a little dirty on the back. Record looks very good, but I'll know more after a clean and a listen!

I found
Ian hunter "All American Alien Boy"
Ian Hunter "Overnight Angels"
Barclay James Harvest"
James Taylor "Sweet Baby James"
at a local hospital thrift store for $1 each all in nice shape.I have been looking for anything by Ian Hunter for awhile since my copies of his albums have been played to death over the years. Now I'm trying to convince the wife to visit her mom for the weekend so I can give these a real Listening too the way Ian intended them to be heard.

It turns out that a number of records from the jazz and classical collection of my late father-in-law are still around. Unfortunately they were not given the required TLC and as a result most of them are in really bad shape. :( Still nice to have this as a tangible part of his legacy though.
