Hey all! Been lurking for awhile reading, decided to join and now finally make my first post...
Just picked up a 1229Q at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore for $10 a couple weeks ago. missing the cart holder and cart, but spins ok as far as I can tell...the paper strobe disk needs reattached. Made a new steuerpimple from some coax, cycles ok now. Plinth is a terrible homemade jobber that is coming apart.
One thing, well a couple of things, I'm missing is the 2? pieces that connect the cue lever to the linkage underneath. I've watched ebay and searched around a bit but haven't seen anything. Any ideas on where to look? Or keep my eyes open for a donor?
Plans are to make a new plinth and get this thing back in shape so I can put the Garrard 6-200 back in the thrift where it came from, haha! btw got a Marantz 2215B at GW for $6.99 last weekend, needs new lamps, works great but the volume pot is scratchy at the bottom end.
