The tonearm mechanism "pimple" again

I bought a 1249 yesterday, really just for the cartridge, a V15/3 with a genuine MR stylus in perfect shape (I have an inspection 'scope) and the turntable really looked great, except the cover which had a broken edge on the rear, but it had the usual guide problem. I looked at all the posts I could, then chose the coax cable insulator solution which worked like a dream. Never had a belt Dual before; may play around with it for a while. Unlike most of my Craigslist broken things, a $75 well-spent. AS I left the seller's home, I could hear him literally shout for joy; I guess we both ended up happy!

You are so lucky to have a good MR stylus and the V15 Type III.

The 1249 is a gorgeous table and did I mention you are so lucky to have a good MR stylus and the V15 type III?

:D

Anxious to play with it; yes, I felt lucky to get it; buyer and seller happy. He also sold a working Sansui 9090 for $250 but I missed that one!
