Dual 1219

Been using a dual 1219 for many years mostly restoring vinyls. After a session yesterday the table quit turning. Has power. If start is activated and the table is turned manually, the tone arm goes through its proper machinations.

Any ideas on how to fix would be great. Thanks.

The idler thingy was not making contact with the motor spindle. With some gentle persuasion with about a 20 lb hammer and patience the turntable is now functioning.

If it screws up again take the 30 lb. hammer to it I'm glad you got it going! Glenn.
