That's a shame. I stumbled upon it in the early '80's while stationed on the east coast. I was listening to alot of post-war blues and 50's jump-blues at the time and when I stopped in and asked if they had any Larry Darnell, the guy at the counter yelled across the store to his co-worker, "hey ---, this guy know's who Larry Darnell is!".

That's a real shame. I'd heard of the shop and if I lived in New York I'd have spent a lot of time in there.

Any chance of him renting a shop elsewhere?
