Some great music ans dancing
This sounds like something I might have to see... :D

The power of music, to paraphrase Longfellow, is the universal language of mankind...

That one sounds likes fun, Fred...When it comes down to it, there are simply too many artists to mention that would be NOWHERE without the genius that is Clive Davis! =D>

Patti Smith: Dream of Life.

A great documentary about the person in the title who happens to narrate the film. Two great aspects about that. One, she's on board for the experience so that no total BS should be part of it. Two, it is narrated like she's reciting a poem and if you know her, you know how great that is. Some of my most prized records are maxi-45s of hers with intros that run as long as the song themselves.

In this movie, even when she's just talking, it's like listening to poetry. =D>

I could add Rocketman, Blinded by the Light and Yesterday? None of them worked that well to be honest, but as someone who knew nothing about Elton John or Springsteen the first two were reasonably interesting, and the basic idea of Yesterday was entertaining.

Did someone mention "Coal Miner's Daughter"?

I thoroughly enjoyed Sing Street. It's about teenagers who form a band in Dublin in the mid eighties.
