They got rave review on 6moons, along with photon treated CDs, the Intelligent Chip and the Blackbody device (don't ask). You don't get much higher praise than that!

They might actually make some difference, by changing crosstalk to other (especially mains) cables.
Also many "high end" amplifiers have really marginal stability and changing cable capacitance can cause or stop rf oscillation. Some reviewers always seem to prefer added distortion and low level oscillation

I think the official explanation is that they provide an improved habitat for spiders to build their webs and that these webs safely dissipate bad sound before it gets to the speaker cones :-s

Or, simply sliding the cables a few cm one way or the other. What is made further from one thing becomes closer to another. Cable management has many forms but is always good practice even if only for aesthetics.

"Bruce Brisson engineered additional poles/points of articulation to further extend the articulation bandwidth of your audio system"

Sounds perfectly feasible to me? I've always felt that my system lacked articulation bandwidth, but the cost of the necessary number of poles/points has always been beyond my means. The MIT cables work out at $350 per articulation pole/point which is a bargain in my book :)

I wonder if the guy reviewing them needs his inner ear testing?shouldn't things like that be classed as fiction?

the problem is not the guy who reviews such cables but the one that buys them...

40K for 2m of cable... to put it in prospective, a brand new audi TT has the same price, and i guess a bit more r+d, not to mention work hours or materials...

These are examples, of why you see so many rich people around the world...

Knowing nothing and ripping-off other people.
