I love all the photos. Some beautiful places, too.

That's me, skiing about 1/2 hour from my home in NH. I don't ski much, but it was too nice a day...

And google's depiction of my home, a fairly recent photo too.

Maybe more to follow. Sea kayaking perhaps?

Ran into this just south of Flagstaff, AZ today. Not exactly what I expected in the desert.

Apologies for the quality, taken and resized with my cell phone.

JC, driving from Kansas to California in April 1967 I saw whiteout conditions there. The trucks were still rolling and I'd follow one as long as I could, then pull off and wait for another (which gave me the time to break the ice off my wipers). It took me from 8:00pm til midnight to make the 80 miles from Flaggstaff to Kingman.
My opinions are free and worth twice that.

Here are a couple from a small part of my world.

The view from my back door:
23139

We don't see as much wildlife in the back yard as we used too. In the thirteen years we've been here building has pushed them farther and farther out. I also don't do dope and listen to CCR as much as I used to. (Okay, so I know some are saying "So that's what's wrong with him.", but that was a very long time ago.)

Monsoon Rainbow seen from the pool gazebo:

"Springtime in the desert, and the Cactus are in bloom":
23140

And since the current monsoon season is wrapping up here, I though I'd add a link to a monsoon video. This was from July 2006. I can see some edits in the video but it really does happen nearly this fast. The first video I saw (and can no longer find) had an on screen timer. It was just under 3 mins from start to bankful.
My opinions are free and worth twice that.

Moved from Long Island in New York state to a friendly little town to start the second half of my life at the tender age of 54 in 2010. An agricultural community that is laid back with plenty of outdoor activities and wholesome folks.

If you're from Melbourne spot the mistake in the bit about parks!
