Just completed another AX and thought you may want to have a look.
This one has a ES subchassis with linn springs and Marc M. perches.
Table was completely refinished with new switch, wiring, caps and new
Hurst 3 watt motor.
The Grace arm with the Shure Type III really sounds good and is real
improvement over the stock arm with the same cart.

I guess I should have re-sized the pics first...one of these days I'll learn to use these things...who am I kidding :?

Here's one of the whole table.

Here's another with a Sumiko MMT arm and a Shure M97 cartridge, first time I've heard the Shure sound so good - must be the arm.

Hi Stefan: Long time no talk. What are you using for feet on these latest XA builds?

Hi Scott, Using 1 1/2" rubber feet that sit a little more then 1/4" high under the tables bottom cover.

Where do you get them, and how do you attach them? Got any photos?

Here's my recently modified AR XA turntable with Luxman tonearm in a redwood burl plinth. It uses the original Haydon motor, t-bar and platter. The thread following the build is over at AK, here...

Wow, that burl is gorgeous! I have a small piece of burl that was made into some grips on my .45 ACP. They look equally great too! :)
