Here's my recently modified AR XA turntable with Luxman tonearm in a redwood burl plinth. It uses the original Haydon motor, t-bar and platter. The thread following the build is over at AK, here...

Wow, that burl is gorgeous! I have a small piece of burl that was made into some grips on my .45 ACP. They look equally great too! :)

Here she is, totally stock and in very near perfect condition! If the tone arm needs rewiring at some point I may mod it, but until then it sounds amazing as is.
