So why don´t you guys try out how a modded P5 will sound like with a P/ or P9 ceramic platter then? You can buy the platter as spare part here: http://www.analogueseduction.net/produc ... er_rp7plat

So can someone please buy ´n try?! I´m curious as well!

Oh, I forgot to mention, the GT sub platter does not fit by default...But I´m pretty sure Frank will be able to fix this at your wish.

Hi bacobits,

I bought a used P7 audiogon several months ago-all I can say is, if you know what you want, and are willing to wait, you can find one. I bought mine for a very good price-much less than a the new RP6 (not available when I bought the P7) and less than a new P5 with the TTPSU. So it can be done.

Eeek £406.99 for a cake stand with a hole in it :shock: Seriously though, I've never heard a turntable with a ceramic platter and that's almost affordable...
