twas the night before Christmas.... Well Jo, but I did buy a Heed Orbit 1 PSU for my TT. I should have it in a few days. Can't wait to see how the record collection responds.

Some updating here. I've had the Heed PSU for some time. I just completed Michael Lim's motor isolation mod and added his double pulley but don't yet have a second belt on. By removing the motor from the plinth, the music has just lept forward in a big way. More dynamic, wider presentation, quieter background, tons of bass on and on

Here's the isolation process:

More to report when the second belt goes on.

Back to Mr Chick Corea!

Just can't get over all the 'tunefulness' this latest motor mod has done for the table!!

I modded my P25 recently with the Groove Tracer Referance sub-platter and Delrin platter. I want to do some more modds but I am waiting to see what other modds Frank has up his sleeve. He seems to be very intuitive on what the Rega TT's need for improvement.

The Funk firm platter is more money than the GT Delrine platter. $295. vs $235.
Also the GT platter is thicker and weighs about the same as the glass platter. The Funk Firm platter I believe is the same thickness as the stock platter and weighs less than the stock platter....
