Polishing by hand with a Product like MinWax paste wax here in the States would bring the shine up.
Actually anything with carnauba and bee's wax. There are some nice products out there.

Thanks a lot. Going to follow your tip with the bees wax and carnauba this weekend and will let you know how it turns out. Using the wood finisher is pretty sore on the arms and I think I have hit saturation point with that product now.

What is the next step for "knight rider" ;) or are you finished with the mods on your TT?

I have one more upgrade here sitting the last few months and that is the Cardas Re-wire. Things are sounding way too good to disturb taking anything apart.

A good chunk of change invested in it right now. The problem comes in when ready to sell.
All the parts have to be really sold separately to recoup some $$ back. Not many people are ready to spend $1600+ on a used Rega 5 even if it is maxed out. I would not sell it complete for anything less.

Love those plinths though!
Enjoy!!

The cardas require is well worth it.
Agree pimping the rega is definitely not a good economical decision...
On paper a total waste of money but in practice...priceless!
