Rega RP1 white belt be swapped to my new RP3?

I've got a Rega RP1 with the white belt and it has less than 100 hours on it. I am upgrading to the RP3 and am wondering if these belts develop a memory for a particular install that would most likely prohibit my swapping it out to the RP3. I want to put the stock belt back on and see if I can sell the RP1 thru the classified section of this Forum.
