Rega P3 with R200 arm

Postby slowporch » 06 Aug 2012 14:41

Hello,
My first post here :)
I've a Rega P3 with a R200 (S shapes) arm and would like to install a AT440mla cart.
Is it easy or I need spacers and so on?
Thanks in advance.

I haven't used my R200 for a while, but I don't think you should worry about spacers.
Either cartridge should sound good. I had a DL-110 on mine, and loved it.

Cheers,
Alec

Use small needle-nose pliers to grab the tags on the clips that slide onto the cartridge pins. Don't pull the wires.
Use an alignment protractor (under Tools at top) to position the cartridge correctly.

Cheers,
Alec

Finally got the AT440mla, installed and aligned with stevenson protractor..now I need time to let it sound and listen...
My turntable is Rega P3 + R200 and I use Sonus Faber Concertino Home. Now I have connected to an old Luxman L30 and Rega Brio amplifiers (the rega one I need to set it up because I have some noise and it capture radio frequence when connected to the phono/rega p3...)
Pre phono might help?

Thanks!
Cheers.
