Stanton HP 680

Hi I've had a Technics SL-23 for years and only recently started to get back into the vinyl. When I pulled out the tuntable I noticed my stylus was broken. :( I am looking for a replace and came across some used Stanton HP 680s (cartridge and headshell). It should be compatible but I was curious of the quality? I've never had to purchase a new cartridge before.

I am replacing an ACUTEX 312. Any feedback is apprciated, thanks.

The Stanton HP 680 is a OK cartridge, not as good as the Acutex. But upgradable to 681 EEE level by a stylus change which makes it competitive with many better cartridges. A Vivid Line Shibata is heavenly in one.
