The Voice of Music store?

Postby Phoca » 17 Jun 2012 18:01

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these folks: http://www.thevoiceofmusic.com/

Their prices seem to be quite good for certain items (e.g. the Pfanstiel MG-29E/Red Ed elliptical sells for $14), and I'm looking for a replacement needle for a stanton 680EE cartridge on which I don't want to spend a mint (at least until I've tried it out). They have a generic one for $18.

Thanks.

Generics for Stanton are a crapshoot. Jico is best for those. Vivid Line is also good. V-M Audio Enthusiasts is a reliable supplier for V-M turntables and their needs.

I ordered a 45 adapter for my Garrard changer from them, and it arrived within a few days. I've also heard lots of other folks on different forums say how good their customer service is.

Dealt with them for an idler. Very good communication and service, and not expensive. Recommended!

I've purchased from them many times and swear by them. I've been able to find some gems on there for dirt cheap! a NOS Shure N111He for $40 and a NOS Audio Technica ATS12s for $50

I've also purchased generics from them and I really love how they ship so quickly and for so cheap (even to Canada)

About 3 weeks ago I purchased am ATS12S (201-DQX) stylus to mount on my TK5E (superb match). In Fact I think I purchased the last one they had, at $55 i decided the next day to go ahead and get another one for "just in case" and they were out of stock.
3 days to deliver (Michigan to Atlanta) the stylus was NOS sealed box perfect condition.
So very good experience on my side, fast delivery, very good price and item as expected.
This is now the first site I go to when I need a replacement stylus, as most of the time, no other site can match their price.

Gary Stork, who operates that site, is a great guy. I've bought many spare parts and exchanged emails with Gary for years.
