Ortofon OM D 25 M Microgroove cartridge

Hi all,
I bought this cartridge to play my hundreds of MG vinyl. I am glad I did. The sound and the tracking is really better than a stereo cart. on these MG vinyl. But there is something that makes me wonder...The tracking force for that cart. is between 3-5 grs.(4 grs. for optimum as the factory recommends) I keep it between 4-4.5 grs and it really tracks and sounds soo good and no distortion..suprisingly very silent at that high VTF!! As I had never used a MG cartridge before I still havent got used to the high tracking force and have some doubts if it ever damages my LPs?Is there anyone out there who had used /still uses this cartridge and opinions on the high tracking force of it? I would also be very glad to hear about other micro groove cartridges, their sounds and the tracking forces.

Cheers,
