snap, crackle and pop

Hi, While looking for a replacement motor, I have the opportunity to get a 126 MKI Motor. This should be, if I remember correct, an asyncronous AC Motor as well. The TD125 Motor is driven by 2x5V and 40Hz for 33,3rpm via a quadrature oscillator, for instance. Does anyone know the data for the 126 Motor? May I use the motor with more or less minor changes to the oscillator? Or must I build/get another 'driver stage'? Any other things to be careful of? slighty hopeful, Rudiger PS: I know I may get a motor from Technical & General in GB, but it's kind of expensive (about 85 Pounds).
