Start here. http://www.theanalogdept.com/
Read everything on vinyl engine related to TD 150 and TD-160. Download the manuals and read them. Read everything lots of times and keep a file of the useful information.
For motor oil, belts, and bearing oil I recommend you contact Joel Boutreux, he is a member here at Vinyl Engine. He sells a kit on e-bay so you can purchase the oil and belts there.
Maybe you start slow? Clean everything, oil the motor, lube the bearing, and replace the belt. Adjust the suspension (very important to get good sound). You can maybe keep the Stanton 681EEE and find a nice replacement stylus for it? Your preference. Carefully align the cartridge/stylus using a protractor that you can down load for free right here. Then listen to the deck and see how it performs.
After that you can upgrade the tone arm if you wish. there are other other mods as explained by "theanalogdepartment".
You have a nice deck that can be made a lot better.
Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
