TP 13 A small counter weight question

Postby robbe_15 » 13 Jun 2012 19:11

Scored a Thorens TD 150 MK2 with TP 13 A tone arm but the small counter weight is missing.
For restoration I try to make a substitute but have to know the exact weight of this part, fixation screw included.

Can some one please give me the exact weight of this part ?

Hello, I doubt you will ever regret keeping your TP13A arm in service :)

A few years back I had custom weights machined for mine, weighing the same as the original weights but made from stainless steel. My original small weight is long gone to a hobbyist in need but the weight of the replacement on my TP13A is 16.86g including set screw.
