I have added 8 or 9 tables in the last month, so I am up over 20 now. went on a bit of spending spree on some very good deals, IMO. Anything from Empire 208 to Rekokut, to Russco, to Sparta, to Basis, to Sota to Weathers. Just plain nuts. Now I have enough projects for the next year.

More than I actually need, but glad to find that there are other turntable hoarders out there. Don't get me started on speakers

Technics SL1300
Ar Sugden BD103
AR "The AR Turtable"
Systemdek IV Electronic
Fons CQ30
My wish list includes
Fairchild, Metzner, Rek-o-kut, Empire. If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand.

Casper, the user manual for the Rebel is here in the Library section
http://www.vinylengine.com/library/revolver/rebel.shtml

There are setting up and arm adjustment instructions in the manual.

One, a VPI 'HRX' is more than enough for me. The maintenance to keep any decent turntable, arm, cartridge etc working at optimum is for me a hassle I sure don't wan't multiplied. I can understand though why people collect them but to get the best out of LP's is for me a hassle I don't want increased.
My solution to the 'different colours' question is to run a VPI 'JMW" 12.7 arm with four easily swapped arm wands each with a pre-mounted and balanced cartridge installed. That way I can swap cartridges in seconds and return to the appropriate VTA with no hassle as the 'JMW' has calibrated and repeatable VTA settings.
In my dreams I imagine a remote controlled VTA adjustment as the ultimate easy analogue solution.
OK, so I'm lazy but decades of fighting with turntables has cured me of wanting to complicate things.

I only have two now:

Technics SL-1800 Mk2/Denon DL-110
Technics SL-1200M3D/Nagaoka MP-110

The 1800 is set up for classical LPs, and the 1200 is set up for everything else. I recently sold a Dual 505-2 and an Audio Technica AT-LP240-USB, and a few months ago I had to trash a Luxman PD-264.

Wow, you make me feel normal again.

Garrard 301
Lenco L75 x2
Origin Live Ultra Kit

Enough plinth building work ahead to keep me happy for quite some time.
Only another 4 in total, that were given away or sold.
Dual CS504, Thorens TD 160 with Linn LVX, Systemdeck 1V with mod. Rega RB300 and Systemdeck 11XE 900 with mod. Rega RB300.

I know someone who bought a few Philips CD players, when CDM0 and CDM1 lasers, were difficult to find.
What is your excuse?

regards
Bruce
