Now that is dangerous advice Mr Latte! I really do like the look of the 124 but my new year's resolution is- less is more. Happy '12

The only idlers I have ever owned (and still own) are DUAL's. I've heard the Thoren's and Garrard as well of a vinyl buddies but have never heard a Lenco. I'm in hot pursuit of a L-78 but alas it has evaded me so far. So until I own another brand I guess my 1219 is king...

Have you tried this line.. "What that turntable??? :? , no thats not new I have had it ages, dont you remember?" :^o :D

Or the classic

'That old thing? I found it in the cellar/garage/shed when I was having a clearout/spring clean and thought I'd better test it before putting it on eBay.'

Say it with a mild look of disgust, hinting that you will be glad to see the back of it, just as soon as you are sure it's all running OK :wink:

Unfortunatly the 'testing period' may take rather a long time, maybe even years :) .
