TD 105 Pressure Spring

Postby camillo » 31 Jan 2012 12:35

Hi,

greetings to all from a German newbie!

I try to reactivate my father`s Thorens TD 105 and it seems I have to replace at least one of the springs of the subchassis. I found this part on ebay (http://www.ebay.de/itm/Thorens-TD105-Su ... 483f00157d) - the price seems to be okay. Can the replacement easily be done by myself? I have already downloaded Manual and Service Guide, but could not find anything on this. Any idea or should I just start and try?

Cheers

Greetings camillo,
I am new to this forum as well and just recently picked up a TD165. It sounded much better than my Sony DD I have had for years. I joined this Forum looking for some info on my PS x30 and found it as well as some other good information. I can't answer your question about the spring but I did find a website that has a lot of information about Thorens including rebuilding. I think you find the info you need there. www.theanalogdept.com
Good luck with your project.

Cheers,
Bob

Hello, I don't have the answer to your answer but I was wondering if you could know what is the power supply required for a TD T05. I have one but the power supply is missing ..
Thanks for your help
