so.. this is my first turntable and its been working fine but today it started making a weird noise and the platter wouldnt spin until i spun it a bit and then it started spinning on its own but very slowly with this noise that seems to be coming from the motor assembly spindle? maybe? or the motor,,im not sure
but yea....i need help :(

I expect it needs some oil. You can put a drop of light oil on a small screwdriver, and touch it to the motor shaft under the pulley. It will run down into the bearing. Keep the belt well away from the oil. Sewing machine oil is good. Regular 3-in-one will gum up, but the 3-in-one electric motor oil is OK.
