Replacement feet for SL 1300 (1974)
I own an great 1974 SL 1300 TT. The Isolation feet are very worn out. I have looked all over creation for a replacement set and cannot decide on what to purchase for it. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to replace the originals with? Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Re: Replacement feet for SL 1300 (1974)
Thanks Chuck, I finally got a set of really nice Isolator feet from an old SL 1200 and all I had to do was tap out the mounting holes a tiny bit, they fit great. This SL 1300 is a jewel. Yours looks great!. These TT's don't get the credit they deserve. After I replaced the tone arm wiring, serviced the inside, cleaned all of the pots, replaced the Petra cables, and performed all of the adjustments it really brought this one back to life. I had one in Germany in 1974 and I wanted to get another. Found it on the ole' auction site. Thanks for the reply. Steve.

Hello greatbear74!
The insulation feet on the 1300's is the same on sl 1650? I would like to change them but i didnt know that the 1200's would fit can you explain how you did that? Did you change any inner pieces or just the feet? Many thanks in advance!

The SL-1650 has a spring suspension whereas the 1300, or more comparable 1350, does not. The only feet you can use with the suspended turntables are the originals. Somebody should get on to 3D printing them.Vinilomaniac wrote:Hello greatbear74!

Re: Replacement feet for SL 1300 (1974)
I simply measured the length of how much bolt protruded through the base including the washer and cut the New bolt on the 1200 feet to size. The bolt on the 1200 feet is slightly larger than the 2.85 mm bolt on the original 1300 foot, so you'll have to enlarge the hole in the base just slightly. These work and look great on the 1300. I will post a picture as soon as I get a chance. Enjoy!Vinilomaniac wrote:Hello greatbear74!

I adapted a set of SL1200 feet to my SL1300 and they fit and work great. I had to tap out the mounting hole on each foot bit, but they really fit great! There is plenty of clearance between to Bottom Base and the Foot for movement. The SL 1200 uses an "M6" thread on these feet so you have to drill out the base. Since I don't ever plan on getting rid of this particular table it isn't a big deal to me about value, I love to spin vinyl and this table is the Stuff Man. I've got some New Stanton's, Pickering's, Audio Technica cartridges and this table rocks. How do I post photo's on the forum? All of mine are greater than 1MB and they will not load on here. Thanks!

Anyone know what size thread the 1300 comes with stock? Obviously something smaller than M6...
