Wich platter on SP15 ?

Postby ipapb » 22 Jun 2012 21:03

I found a Technics SP 15 DD deck but without the platter. What platter can be mounted on this table ? (SL...)?

Thanks

From a quick search of the part number the platter appears to be unique to the SP15?

It is unique to the SP-15. The SP-25 platter may well fit too. Same size but stick to the SP-15 platter.

The mass is the important part - strictly, its moment of inertia. Try to match that if you cannot get a genuine part, otherwise the servo system may not be stable.

How in the world could someone lose a platter like that? Or any platter for that matter It baffles me.
