Marantz 6150

My 6150 speed controls in 33 and 45 are wildly flakey going fast then slow on the stroboscope. The pots turn smoothly, the the platter turns smoothly, but I just cannot get the speed locked in, and the slightest touch on the speed pot gets the speed occilating wildly fast then slow.

Any thoughts would be appreciated..

Get a good contact/control cleaner inside the speed control pots. The contacts have a layer of oxide, causing unreliable conductivity. Do all other contacts, while you are in there.
