Fully tricked-out Rega P5

Postby watercourse » 20 Aug 2012 05:24

Hi there,

I'm facing a relocation, so am thinking of lightening the load.

Any interest in a highly modded, awesome-sounding P5 and TTPSU with the following add-ons:

1. Incognito complete rewire (headshell tags to RCA)
2. Groovetracer Reference subplatter, Delrin platter, and 150g counterweight with extra heavy weights (two sets of weights)
3. Pete Riggle VTAF with teflon upgrade
4. Michael Lim double pulley and motor isolation base
5. Two Rega white belts

I have all the stock parts, so I can bring it back to stock, except for the rewire of course.

Contact me if you have any interest.

Hi Wilson,

Would you consider selling the subplatter and delrin platter separately?

Regards

Well, I'm putting out feelers right now. I could part it out, but I'd also like to see if someone was interested in a complete package.
I'm also not convinced I should sell, except I just found out how expensive it could be to move!

I'm thinking best offer north of $1600 for the entire package, the sweet spot would be around $1800 shipping and paypal extra. Otherwise, if I don't get enough decent offers, I can part out.

The following add-ons were all bought new, retail prices provided:

1. Incognito complete rewire (headshell tags to RCA) - $219
2. Groovetracer Reference subplatter, Delrin platter, and 150g counterweight with extra heavy weights (two sets of weights) - $685
3. Pete Riggle VTAF with teflon upgrade - $210
4. Michael Lim double pulley and motor isolation base - $138
5. Two Rega white belts - $118

Say it's not true... if you sell separately I would be interested in the Groovetracer counterweight.

I don't want to do it, nabil, but duty may call soon...

Thanks for all the interest so far guys, but still looking for someone who wants the entire package. I'll keep you all in mind for parting out if no one steps up.

This is a $2820 value for $1800... for a reference deck.
