I have in my possesion three (yes 3!) Denon DP-80s.
These, in case you are not aware, are plinthless heavy weight motors with a heavy triple insulated (from vibration) platter, sold mainly to broadcast studios and are true workhorses.
All are 100V (japan only) and require transformers to work
on standard european 230V.
I can make superb turntables out of them with a custom metal chassis and separate
tonearm base. Please search the thread at diyaudio ("monsterizing a DP-80")to see
the outcome...
Other options include taking out the transformer, making a separate power supply,
adding ballast inderside it,periphery rings, record weights etc etc.
Anyway...i have three spare units for sale.
These are serviced and tested to work perfectly.
The price is 1000 euros for each unit and i am willing to send them carefully
packaged within Europe..
Thanks for reading this...
