Television - Adventure of 1978. It is the follow up to Marquee Moon and I did not know it even existed until I picked it up today for a euro.

Surprisingly good. Better than Marquee Moon.

Adventure is a kinda forgotten album...I love it but think Marquee Moon is a bit better. I've been looking for vinyls of these for a while ..to no avail. The remastered CD's are pretty good though..

Spinning a couple of the albums I picked up Tuesday.

Lee Konitz, "Motion", Verve V-8399

Great album! Sonny Dallas on bass is driving and relentless.

Keith Jarrett, Garry Peacock, Jack DeJohnette, "Standards Vol. 1" ECM 1255

Now:

Miles Davis, "Shetches of Spain" Columbia 40578 (digital remastered - keeping my eyes open for a 6 eye)

Listening to as I type.

1.Bob Marley >>> Legend (island 1984 ) A must have for any record collection. Apart from the music it sounds great as well.

2. Janis Ian >>> Between the Lines (CBS 1975 ). great sounding singer/ song writer.

3. Cat Stevens >>> Teaser and the Firecat (island 1971 )

"Burning All Night" by Lion on A&M from 1980. The copy I bought was still sealed. Strange opening up an album almost thirty years later.

Very commercial West Coast rock saved by the great voice of the late great Gary Farr.

'E Luxo So' by Labradford. An all analog production apparently. Sounds a hell of a lot better than the cd, that's for sure!
